Its funny when people talk about the big bad 80s ans 90s teama. The players then where nowhere near as athetic as they are now. Lebron wouod shite all over those teams. The nba back the were boys compared to the men that play it now

LeBron took the early 2000s Pistons to the woodshed as a 3rd and 4th year player, and those teams were built exactly like the 80s and 90s squads that people love.

Do people think that?
And those of that are old enough to think that quit watching the NBA years ago.

Really?
Those teams had a Hall of Fame PG, SG, PF and coach?
A 4x all star at center?
A former stud at SF that was still an excellent player?
They didn't have all of those.
They had a stud, undersized center that might have been better than Laimbeer, but were worse at every other position.

Y'all act like back in the 80's players could get away with murder and no foul was called. That's just not true.

Robert Parish handled Laimqueer.
No safety pins for The Chief.

What's funny is all the bad boys dickriders fail to remember lambieer himself said that LeBron would fricking dominate that era.

Laimbeer was talking about the WNBA.

They were a dominant defensive force and played incredibly physical. They put an end to Kobe/Shaq in 5 games. They're very comparable to those 80s teams whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

That doesn't mean that he would win.

quote:Well this is a bit deceiving because of the 66 game season in 2011-2012. Both Indiana (52) and OKC (58) were on pace for over 50 wins. So it's more like 11-6.
Lebron 9-6

Comparable yes, as talented, frick no.
The Hall of Fame speaks for itself.
The only guy in the Hall from those 2000s Pistons teams is the coach, whom nobody would mistake for Chuck.

quote:No, but they probably had 2 Hall of Famers with Billups and Webber. Hamilton was a 20 PPG scorer at that point. And Flip wasn't some terrible coach or anything.

But despite being less talented, they still won in 6, rather than losing. Shouldn't that have some bearing on the comparison?

quote:And I think the other thing to note is that, while that Bad Boys team was better than the 2000s Pistons team, LeBron was also like 22 years old or something when he singlehandedly beat them, so that wasn't even close to peak LeBron.
They were better

Dennis Rodman would have Lebron faking an injury.
