What a bizarre puritanical world view. Should every playoff loss by the White Sox since 1919 be called into question? There are only 5 players on the 2022 team that were on the 2017 team and 2 of those are pitchers (the “cheating” was sign stealing after all). It’s also intellectually lazy to say they are still cheating with zero evidence or even credible accusation.

If it was allowed/ignored and done by everyone how is it “cheating”. Singling out the Astros then is blatant hypocrisy and bias.

I'm sure personal resentment had nothing to do with it.
To act like other teams can hold some sort of moral high ground especially when it comes to sign stealing is ridiculous.

The best part he said “once a cheater always a cheater”. Alabama has been on probation before, they vacated all their wins from 2005-2007 so by his logic all their titles after are not valid because they are cheaters

Yes, I wish the anti Astros crowd would just admit they don't like the Astros for whatever reason instead of trying to throw out a weak moral argument.

There was an article that I read that was about a pitcher that was on a team that had playoff hopes. The pitcher stated that he wanted a WS ring because the one he won with Astros doesn’t count because of the cheat.

Can’t really answer until the Astros run is over and we don’t know exactly when that will be yet. They do have multiple titles now and generally speaking I’d rather be in the ALCS every year than missing the playoffs every other year

It was Musgrove, who had minimal impact on that WS run. Then he was shipped off in the Cole trade.
