Damn, ya'll are killing me. I always told Jags fan that you should be lucky to have a winning record so early as a former Saints fan. The city was crazy with the Jags early success to only never achieve it again.

2011 Saints were the best team in the league that year. One of only times a 13-3 team didn’t get a bye. Turned ball over 4 times on the road at San Fran and still should have won.

If Pierre Thomas doesn’t get knocked out cold crossing the goal line to start the game they win the SB this year.

I’m still pissed.

This team was the best saints offense. Brees, Jahri Evans, Carl Nicks, Jimmy Graham, Darren Sproles, Colston, Pierre Thomas. Just a loaded offense.

The 1990 49ers deserve a mention. 14-2 regular season and shooting for the first ever three-peat. Had the NFC title game against the Giants in the bag until Roger Craig fumbled the ball.

Agree.

Steve Young would have had to figure it out quick, but based on his results from the 1988 and 1989 seasons, he could have gone toe to toe with Jim Kelly's offense.

Possibly. The 2011 Saints were pretty good.

Many here, given it's an LSU board, would say the 2018 Saints. An egregiously bad no-call keeps them out of the Super Bowl. No guarantee they beat New England (considering LA had a great offense too and was held to 3 points), but I trust Brees over Goff in that game.

2011 Saints over the 2018 Saints. The 2011 Saints were a better team than the 2009 team and they would have hammered the Giants at home in the NFCCG.
