Doubtful. Harden has 5X the twitter followers. Probably has appeared in more commercials too.

I avoid this type of thread usually because what it devolves into. People have differing opinions on what they consider superstars.

My definition is purely basketball related. Some guys would be super famous if they played in a different market.

I think some of you guys are mixing up superstar and celebrity.

Based on some of yalls opinions Johnny Manziel should be a superstar because of his popularity.

But Wade is the only endorser of Ling Do shoes in the NBA. Who else is the NBA face of an entire shoe company?

Fame is more important than current on field production IMO. Shaq was a superstar well past his athletic prime.

Shaq is a transcendental star and first ballot hall of famer. Shaq was a bigger star than Wade ever was. Want to compare Harden to Jordan next?

Wade is a First ballot hall of famer too. What is your point? Are you mad bc I said wade was a superstar? Why are you mad about that? Or are you mad bc I said Davis wasn't ? Look every non pelicans fan in this thread said Davis wasn't a superstar a couple even laughed at pels fans for thinking that he was.

Blake and CP3. They may not be the best at their positions but they have transcended the game. Casual fans know who they are.

No and no.

All-star level, yes, but I don't think that makes you a superstar. I think superstars singlehandedly can make their teams playoff caliber.
