Because he’s fighting dudes using their weakest fricking skill. This is like me challenging Shaq and all the equivalents in a FT shooting contest and cleaning up every time.

Haha Conor is stupid perry is easily their biggest star and to be honest I think Conor gets destroyed by Paul.

I would hope so. Jake Paul is over 1.5x the size and weight of McGregor. When will people finally accept the fact that’s the most important thing in combat sports?

Mike Perry’s weakest skill is his hands?

No we don’t lol. He hasn’t proven anything except that he can outbox non-boxers.

And he would get destroyed either fighting them in their sport or boxing them not past their prime or same weight.
Nothing he has done deserves any sort of accolades for being a great boxer, which is the sport they are competing in and the one he wants to get a belt in.

He sat Mike Perry down quite a few times in this fight and not many people have done that.

Again, this isn’t really what Perry does or knows. He had one other boxing match in his career. You think this goes the same way if it’s mma or bare knuckle?

Doesn’t matter. The dude had no combat sports experience either.

And? He has proven a lot. The dude had zero combat sports experience. I get that people want to hate and I did also. But I am
Impressed by what he has done.

And he’s never been tested, by design.

Go grab one of the young teenagers coming up in the Olympic boxing ranks and he could easily do what Paul has done.

I’ll revisit this when Paul actually enters into the legitimate boxing ranks like he says he wants to do and see how he does.

Paul has definitely put in the work but let’s be honest, he hasn’t fought anyone to be considered a real boxer. He hand picks his opponents. He consistently fights older or smaller guys who have name recognition. That said, He’s doing a great job of promoting himself and making money.

True, but there were plenty of folks here saying Perry couldn't be KO'd

We don’t know if he’s put in the work to be a real boxer though. He’s put in the work to do what he’s done so far. Those may or may not be equivalent.

Some people can kinda work to get to a certain point but not get past that. How many times do we see great fighters roll through people that aren’t great and then get a reality check when they enter high level completion? MVP said something similar after his most recent highly underwhelming fight. I think he understands he can’t just coast and needs to put in the extra work now.

Hopefully we get to see either way at some point.

We do? He couldn’t even beat Tommy Fury whose opposition was something like a combined 50-250 or something like that

There are Middleweights that would spark Jake Paul out in one or two rounds.

No he can be ko’ed Geoff Neal tko’d him in ufc

He was an average guy in the UFC

This was probably Jake’s 2nd riskiest match other than Tyson fury’s brother.

A prime Sergey Kovalev at cruiserweight would embarrass Jake Paul within 4 rounds on a bad night

The guys he fights aren’t boxers and Paul is usually bigger than them.

That he can make money. He is beating everyone in this thread at the one sport we all compete in together.
