Since America is too shitty to qualify?

I will. Just sucks not having that glimmer of hope.

Italy and Netherlands didn't qualify either, right?

This will be a weird world cup.

Yes. It's still fun to watch poor countries upset Europe powers. There's very few big name countries in it this year as a whole.

World Cup has quite a few teams who generally never make it

Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, and Peru

It definitely feels different. I'll definitely join a Calcutta pool to give me a rooting interest.

I'm just gonna have to get 9 AM drunk enough to emotionally invest myself in other teams on a daily basis

Sounds fun, actually.

Where's the guy that started a thread on every board claiming soccer was dead? I can't fathom caring that much about something I don't care about

Then there was the other guy claiming no one cared about soccer outside of big cities despite MLS attendance breaking records in Atlanta

Those threads will be a nice bump eventually.

No. I literally only care about soccer when it's the us team.

It’s a shame that the U.S. didn’t qualify, because soccer has gained so much popularity here, which is also a shame because soccer is ghey.

He was arguing like NY and LA, I probably should have worded that better
