Look, I'm not going to try and pretend like what I'm about to say rivals how Ole Miss lost today.
HOWEVER,
I laughed really hard in 2016 for the Egg Bowl.
Mississippi State entered 4-7.
Ole Miss entered 5-6.
Mississippi State won by nearly forty at Ole Miss to keep Ole Miss from bowl eligibility.
AND THEN, 5-7 Mississippi State became bowl eligible due to APR scores.
AND THEN, Ole Miss burned a redshirt off Shea Patterson.
HOWEVER,
