A lot of the players are jealous of Clark's attention - and the fact that Clark is a white straight female.

Reese is having a very good rookie season. Better than Clark's, IMO. I watch and root for both. I am entertained by their athletic abilities.
I don't actually watch the WNBA, but looking at stats Reese seems horrible and substantially worse than Clark.
Somehow as a 4 Reese is shooting like 36% even though almost all of her shots are within 3 feet of the basket. That's terrible even for the WNBA. She just bricks shots at the rim over and over and rebounds a bunch of her misses. She also somehow despite being large and playing in the paint almost exclusively has only two blocks the entire season. She has a very low skill level and is basically just large and athletic.
Clark had two blocks in her last game as a guard...

I've been watching CC here and there for a couple years now.
It's remarkable how many casual basketball fans suddently became experts of the sport so quickly.

Assuming you mean the 22-23 tournament when lsu played Iowa
Junior 22-23 season

Lead Division I in total points, free throws and triple-doubles.
She won the Dawn Staley Award for the second year in a row and also won the Nancy Lieberman Award, handed out each year to the top point guard in women's basketball.
Clark's junior season, though, catapulted her to a whole new level of fame. She averaged 27.8 points, 8.6 assists and 7.1 rebounds per game, leading Division I in assists and finishing second in scoring. She set Big Ten single-season records in points, assists, 3-pointers and free throws, while tying her own conference record with five triple-doubles.

Kinda crazy that it's contrarian to not have a strong negative opinion on a female basketball player that won lsu a national championship
Why do a buncha old men feel like they have to hate on a young female just because she is more successful than they will ever be.
Hating on angel Reese isn't gonna make your wife quit fricking other dudes.
Yes, what angel Reese said about the foul call makes absolutely no sense logically because it was 100% a foul.
So maybe she said it to generate headlines because that draws interest (as exemplified by this 100+ thread) which brings in advertising money.
"there's no such thing as bad publicity"

You should have had a strong negative opinion about her while she was on LSUs team. Just because someone plays for a school you like doesn’t mean you put blinders on and ignore trash.

This has nothing to do with why people hate Reese lol. What an idiotic statement.
And also, that sure sounds like what Reese is doing regarding Caitlin Clark. How ironic lol

Reese is currently the only rookie ranking top 3 in three main statistical categories among all WNBA players during the month of June.
She’s shooting 37% off her own misses where all her rebounds come from, she’s dog shite at basketball.
