Reese is currently the only rookie ranking top 3 in three main statistical categories among all WNBA players during the month of June.

Reese is having a very good rookie season. Better than Clark's, IMO. I watch and root for both. I am entertained by their athletic abilities.
I couldn't care less about any petty jealousy or racism. It's not why I watch. But to each his own, I guess. I mean, look at the success of all these "reality" shows on TV today.

People tend to look twice at athletes who aren't what we expect.
Caitlin Clark is famous because she is a white girl-next-door type who broke college scoring records. If a 6'2'' black girl had done all the same things, no one would have noticed because that's what we expect.
If a black guy named Tyrone from Atlanta, Georgia, wins the Masters next year, he will get more attention than if some white guy named David from Dallas, Texas, wins it.
That's just the way it is.
The only reason anyone knows who Angel Reese is because of her proximity to Caitlin Clark and mocking her in the tournament with the "can't see me" hand wave BS. She should be thanking her.

No matter how many times this is repeated, it doesn’t make it true
Angel Reese went viral, with millions of views, way before the title game. Many could argue it was the other way around.

I understand you don't seek racism, whatever that means. Problem is some racism is tolerated and even celebrated in this country. The hypocrisy is one of the great things to come from the women's basketball craze of the past year.
