And another worthless, but related to that, tidbit is that Jesuit coach Joey Latino was NOLA City MVP as a pitcher and IF for DeLaSalle (NOLA) and all-state in 1981. In 4A at the time, Jesuit and DLS were arch-rivals

with a Jesuit/Retif 1-0 lead and Bellvue batting with two outs in the bottom of the 2nd, Jesuit 3B had an error. Of course they ended up having a walk, stolen base, then a hit to tie it at one. They then loaded the bases with another walk and Bellvue is now leading 2-1 with Retif NOLA batting in the 3rd.
