Largest classification. Auburn leads Thompson by NINE, 28-19 with :24 left. Thompson blocks the punt on 4th down and runs it back. 28-26.
Onside kick recovered by Thompson. :16 left. Then two straight pass interference penalties. :04 left. Thompson kicks a wounded duck as time expires to win,29-28. Amazing

Auburn High coach fricked up bad. Never should’ve tried to punt and he never called a TO to get the kids regrouped and focused. Massive frickup.

I still feel sick to my stomach for those kids. Played a great game all night and then lose it in 40 seconds. Should have called a timeout before the onside kick as they were confused and out numbered.

Good, anytime Auburn loses in anything is a good thing.

Auburn had no idea what to do on the onside kick. To have had such a great team their coach failed big time in the last minute.

I feel for those kids. Terrible way to lose a state title due to the HC being an idiot.
