It's possible. How far gone is Russell Wilson? Hackett sucked, but it was Russ on the field stinking up the joint.

Not a chance they win the Super Bowl in two years unless Russ gets some kind of magic wand to turn himself young again. He’s not a good QB and the roster sucks arse.

Granted, Payton turned a completely obliterated Saints program into a competitive one very quickly. Are they using a similar strategy? Delete the roster and sign a bunch of FAs?

Well, that’s false.

Denver had a top 5 defense last year and they do have guys like Javonte Williams, Latavius Murray, Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick on offense. Russell Wilson and play-calling are the wild card. Both, theoretically, should be better in 2023.

FWIW, there’s next to zero chance they make the Super Bowl within the first two years.

I mean they only have two teams ahead of them in their own division… they’ll be better but the Chiefs going to run that division like the Patriots ran the AFC East with the GOAT for the foreseeable future

Hackett and Russ wasn’t on the same page… this won’t happen with Sean…

It’s a small sample size, but Denver averaged 27.5 PPG the last two games of the season against KC and LA.

Before that, Denver had the worst scoring offense in the NFL and was nowhere close to 20 PPG.

Nathaniel Hackett was just a huge fraud. I’m always willing to give a coach a chance, but man, he just wasn’t it. It’s still shocking he got the OC job for the NYJ.

That's a good one. There's a better chance the Chiefs win another Super Bowl before that happens

There's one Team that will contend with the Chiefs in the AFC West and it's the same team it has been the last 5-6 years, the Chargers.

That division is the toughest gauntlet there is. The Chiefs own that division. Not to mention Justin Herbert and the Chargers have gotten better every year since he’s gotten there. I feel like that is gonna be a tough task for the Broncos, with the Chargers and Chiefs clearly ahead of them.

Broncos defense can be championship caliber. They were playing at a very high level, as the season went on I think they got tired of carrying the offense.

Russ doesn't have the locker room anymore.
