Holy crap, it's insane to remember that a tennis player actually got stabbed on the court.

It is amazing there are people who don't know what that photo is from.

You could literally just make this thread all about Trent Richardson, the Helen Keller of running backs.
One of the worst ever that was highly touted.
And yes, he took the red line and not the yellow.

The Agony of Defeat

Nolan Ryan pic made me think of something. I was watching some facebook or youtube videos the other night, and the first one was odd plays and bloopers. Went down the rabbit hole and ended up on a video about pitchers intentionally hitting batters and the "fights" that ensued. Most of them it was just the batter jawing at the pitcher and the ump and catcher stepping in front of them. But when the batter actually charged the mound, both benches would clear out in a matter of seconds and it would just be a big mass of humanity pushing on each other and no real fight.
When did this become the norm? If you're going to intentionally bean someone, be prepared to face the consequences if he charges you, or do like Nolan did and take care of business. And in most of the clips they showed, the only ones tossed from the game were the pitcher, batter, or both.
