Flip Saunders just said he thinks Beverley did nothing wrong. By the way, Westbrook is easily one of my favorite players in the league. You will never hear me rejoice over his or any other player's injury. Well maybe Perkins. If he dies on the court, I'd probably laugh.

= I suppose?

Would you not expect any fan base to do this?

Swag, it was a stupid RECKLESS ( ) play by Beverly.

I don't think injury was his intent but it was just stupid.

I'd be able to handle it better if he had been driving to the hole hard and was fouled hard.

Players do that all of the time. Usually the contact is minimal, and we don't have injuries, so people don't notice how common it is.

it actually is a very common play, sans the knees clicking.

I don't ever remember seeing a player cut through a ball carrier after he's already called a timeout and headed to the bench.

First off it sucks te Westbrook can't play. He's really fun to watch and it sucks for him.

But I don't think he had called the timeout. It's sorta hard to see but I don think he made the signal. It's the playoffs...guys play hard. Why not go for a steal if a player is gonna walk to the sideline and possibly take his hands off the ball? Hell slapping the table was just as wreck less. He didn't mean to hurt him. Westbrook is tough. Blah blah blah...this sucks.

On a side note...we get to see what Durant can do.

We're not going to see what Durant can do. We're going to see what Ibaka, K-Mart, Reggie Jackson, and Thabo can do.

Because they are going to constantly double Durant if they're smart.

But it is the Rockets we're talking about so who knows.

Just seems like a freak injury to me. Can't blame that on Beverly who was just trying to play hard.

Beverly clearly committed and had already started lunging towards the ball before the whistle blew.

There was no chance to stop.

Not much different than you can see in most games, other than the unfortunate injury.

This may be good for Durant/OKC. Westbrook takes way too many shots away from Durant (and he misses a lot more than Durant). Even Magic Johnson said Westbrook was a terrible point guard during the Finals last season.
