UGA should beat you guys
but even if you somehow win you still may not make the playoff. If Texas wins there is no way you jump them.

I’d be grateful for escaping with a win.
But of course you Gumps will pound your chests after barely beating an awful team.

If Bama beats #1 UGA they will jump Texas.

Jesus I’m ready for Texas and OU to be here. Maybe at least we can watch Bama fans be butthurt that they aren’t always the center of attention.

Why even fricking play the game?

No they will not. Here is why: Bama had their chance to prove they were better than Texas and lost, at home, by double digits. If it had been a last second loss on the road, I could see an argument for putting Bama in over Texas but not losing at home. If you look at their schedules, both have played the same number of ranked teams (at the time the game was actually played). Finally, Bama just needed a miracle play to beat a team that that the week before got absolutely smoked by New Mexico State! If it comes down to Bama or Texas, I just don’t see an argument for leaving Texas out.

Alabama is lucky and not very good. That said, they’ll probably win it all.

UGA will have to get very lucky to beat Bama. Bama designed their team/scheme around beating this UGA team, meanwhile UGA's is designed around beating the Bama Tua/Young offense aka spread/WCO. That nickel defense is swiss cheese vs a qb as athletic Milroe that can also throw a great deep ball. No matter where you cheat with safeties, Milroe can beat it. And Georgia doesn't have the front 7 capable of both defending the edges, maintaing gap control and spying Milroe.

bama would probably go 1-2 against Michigan, osu and pennst. the sec has one team that would probably beat all 3. the sec is a two team conference this year just like the big10. pennst is solid and the sec has more decent teams than the big10, but lsu, mizzou, etc aren't really good teams, just solid. i will say there doesn't look to be any teams like uga. they aren't as strong as last year, but still better than everyone else. pennst has the fastest defense in cfb and would be a nightmare matchup for bama. so the sec just rallies around uga and acts like their respective teams are better than what they really are because uga happens to be in the conf.
