Verlander gets my vote simply due to the no-hitter.

I don’t like that JV leads the league in HRs given up, but it makes his overall numbers that much more impressive

I could go either way, but I'll be interested to see if some of the writers are vindictive over the Anthony Fenech thing from earlier this year.

Even as a fan of a rival team they are fun to watch in this home run era. They can make some of the best hitters look silly which is impressive.
