There is clear evidence that the “woke” movement has caused a decrease in sports ratings. It has affected sports shows and networks. It is a constant reason stated by people who aren’t watching.
You want to pretend that the majority of people are tired of “woke messages” being injected into to sports is reality, I don’t know what to tell you. People are saying they are tired of it, the rating reflect that sentiment, and two major leagues are attempting to use damage control. Yea people not watching is having a negative affect on the leagues ratings/revenue.

You realize that a huge chunk of their viewing audience consists of casual viewers right? This pertains to all sports. Casual viewers will simply watch something else. This isn’t complicated
And if the social messaging wasn’t that big a deal to the NBA’s bottom line, Silver wouldn’t have had any reason to make the statement he did. I mean use some common sense.

Are you fricking stupid? Even if what you are alleging is true, the fact is ratings are tanking. The league needs to be scrambling for each and every viewer it can get. Instead, it tells the segment of its customer base that actually pays the freight (hint: it's not the urban youth) that they're racist hatemongers who need to be eradicated from society.
