Goodell just fricked himself. Robert Kraft may have been the last major public supporter of his reign as commissioner.
You are only looking at this ruling with blinders on. Don't think for one second the other owners weren't watching closely how Goodell handled this being that Kraft is his close buddy. While Kraft maybe pissed about the outcome, Goodell just won himself some points with the other owners.

Is it 4 weeks or 4 games? Pats have a bye so that would put him playing after Dallas game if it's 4 games.

is brady the only nfl player in history to be suspended for cheating?
Unless you count any of the PED suspensions in the last several years.

If you told me bb and Brady were suspended for 8 games, I'd say it's the right call. A full year is overkill, but 4 games is way light for someone getting a competitive edge for what..7 years? 3 superbowl appearances and 1 win.

4 games. As of now, he won't play against Dallas.
I'm saying he will.

What I thought but kept seeing people write he would be back for Dallas... I guess when Goat wins the appeal he will be

This...what the League is pissed about is Brady's and the Pats not being cooperative and being a repeat offender.

I would have preferred a year, but unlike CSP, Brady has a union to protect him. I can live with 4 games and the punishment for the organization is fair, but how did Bellichick not get something?
Read as "saints got over penalized and so therefore the patriots should to!!!"
Everyone in America understands the penalties on the saints were too harsh, why shouldn't the NFL learn from their mistakes?
Also the PSI is so damn arbitrary. All QB's have the balls to their liking. You think Brady, Rodgers, Brees, anyone keeps a damn gauge around to make sure PSI isn't too high/low? Not a chance.
He likely had zero knowledge it was below the "limit". A year is way too much, and the only reason you want it is to punish him more than Saints players. Get over yourself

He should have beat the shite out of Giselle, he would have only got 2 games :(
Oh and the Patriots losing a first round pick is a fricking joke. That being said, punishing the Pats can only increase Goodells approval rating.
