I get downvoted to hell, but I’ve been correct so far. I may have incorrectly guessed when Judge would homer, but for the most part, I have been correct. Having a strong September should come as no surprise.

You once said the Yankees were going to win 115-120 games. That's not even close to happening.

I think truthfully Judge wants to stay in NYY… but not for a discount.
Cashman knows that the discount has been over since the middle of the season. Judge bet on himself and won. The issue wasn't the talent, the issue was whether he could he stay on the field. I think the Yankees will match, at the least.

If I were Judge, or any player on that team that wants to win, my deal would be contingent on them firing Boone. No way I’d sit around and let that bozo flush any more of my greatness down the toilet.

Judge should tell the Yankees ownership behind closed doors that he wants Cashman and Boone fired.

I'm not sure that money is the issue, he'll get his mega bucks regardless. What was the issue pre season was the length of the contract, 7 yrs correct me if I am wrong. And as often as he has been injured, before this season, it's tough seeing him play at the top of his game for 7 more years.

With Aaron Judge, talent was never an issue; he hit 52 homers and was great when he was playing. Health will remain a concern in the coming years, simply because he is 6'7", 282 pounds. If this wasn't a contract year, and he wasn't chasing history, he would have likely missed 20 more games.
Also, if you think I'm bad about the Yankees and Aaron Judge, our local Sports guy, Matthew Laurence loves him some Yankees and Aaron Judge. He went on for 15 minutes on how great Judge is. It's hilarious, but we're in Kentucky. We had a guy before him who was a Yankees fan too, and talked 80% Yankees, 15% NFL, and 5% UK Sports. LOL.

It isn't Boone. I mean he isn't NOT a problem, but Cashman and Hal are way bigger issues. They're terrified to touch the luxury tax and so they try and piecemeal a team together with guys like Donaldson and Gallo. Bargain shopping for vets with bad contracts isn't going to build a winner. I have no idea what their plan is with pitching other than "Cole, like 3 closers, and frick it."

Judge is now at .318; it might be time for the MLB Triple Crown Watch, and not just the AL Triple Crown Watch. The NL guys are still hitting well, unlike the AL guys (Arraez, Bogaerts, Abreu, etc).

Judge didn't homer, but he got two more doubles, and continues to OPS 1.600 in the month of September. Butt-Pirates bullpen is comically bad, and #61 would have happened if they weren't pansies in the 8th. The Red Sox aren't much better, and I can't wait for Judge to hit #61 and #62 against the Sox (you know it's happening). He might be second in BA in the entire MLB (he's third now) since Goldschmidt is slumping. Bogaerts went 2-4, so he remains close with Judge in BA (Judge leads by .0005).
Meanwhile, the Astros sweep the Rays, which makes their magic number 5 to clinch the top seed in the AL. This could have a material effect on Judge's total numbers. Will Boone sit Judge for some games if they get locked into the #2? For the Yankees to claim the division, their magic number is 8 if they can take one from the Jays, but 9 if they are swept by the Jays.
