There is exactly zero “elite”woman who can truly compete on a men’s team. They don’t exist

Sure there is. If you take the best female college basketball player in the country. I'm sure she could make the team at a really bad D3 or NAIA team. She's not going to dominate or anything like that. But she could atleast get on the court and play.

Technically it's not.

WVB net is shorter than MVB. Womens basketball play with a smaller lighter ball. Women's golf hit shorter distances. In track & field, women will throw a lighter shotput or discus.

Those are all still the same motions. Just with more physically appropriate apparatus for women. Softball is a completely different motion

Well I hope that they allow men to play softball if they prefer it to baseball since there is no men's softball offered. Equality, right?

It's pretty straight forward. Even massive softball catchers and speedy softball base runners aren't even on the level of high school baseball players.

but a ton of MLB players throw 95+ mph fastballs now. The average fastball at the MLB level in 2022 was right at 94. Hell, every starting pitcher LSU has throws 95 or better, and a good number of the relief guys can. And that's just college baseball. So to say it's rare to face a major leaguer throwing 95 is just not accurate.

I wasn't talking about MLB though. I was talking about D1 Baseball. And just because they can throw 95 doesn't mean they are throwing that as a starting pitcher. And the relievers aren't throwing a lot of strikes at that speed.
Those numbers make you a Friday night starter on a very good D1 team. I stand by rare.
