Both had HOF worthy numbers. But Kobe himself said 24 so imma ride with 24.

But as a kid #8 with the Fro was my jam. In 6th grade, tried to grow one...was not a good look

At least Spurs fan came to show some respect to a 1st class organization.

What is the criteria for Spurs Jersey retirement when Bowen , Avery Johnson & Elliot have numbers retired?

Sounds like a bit of a stretch to me in comparison to Lakers standards:

1)Finals MVP
2)MVP
3)HOF ( and major contributor to Championship).

Just a friendly reminder that there are plenty of folks who think Kobe is better than LeBron.
