No one can say for sure if he got over the line. That’s why the call stood. Be mad that it was marked short all you want, but there definitely wasn’t enough to overturn it.
I’m not going to say anyone who thinks he got the 1st is wrong, because no one knows if he did or not

It is clear. You see him holding the football and then you see him go forward. The ball is behind the Chiefs play's head. Look where his head is compared to the line.
Is it? I don’t see it. You don’t either, you’re just assuming.

No, there’s videos that show it may have been past it. At least on 4th down.
Nothing that is clear like you guys keep saying.

Yes I do. Watch the fricking video. You can see the football then it get blocked by the Chiefs player's helmet.

I'm fine with the call on the field standing but they used the call from the ref who couldn't see the ball. The opposite ref gave him enough for the first but seemed to have been overruled. If you're going with the call on the field, at least use the one with the best view.
It was a first down...

At least the Eagles beat the shite out of the Commanders and proved they would've won anyway. The Chiefs were given every advantage in this game and barely won.

You can see the ball when it’s still short of the line. Nothing is “clear”. Its all maybe and probably.

I don’t disagree, but the call was short and there isn’t enough to overturn it.
Reverse the roles, the chiefs get marked short and they overturn it based on those angles and views and the entire internet explodes screaming collusion and the melt goes nuclear.
ETA: I get people wanting it to be overturned because “frick the chiefs” and all that, but there wasn’t enough to do it. The bigger bullshite call was the “catch” inside the 5.

Sure looks like he got it when you run the video in real time

I don’t know exactly what the replay official is allowed to look at. But in this specific instance, he should be to take into consideration that the referee at the bottom CLEARLY overruled the referee at the top. And, on review, it was clear that the referee at the top was the only referee who actually had a clear view of where the football was (as the referee at the bottom was completely shielded by both Kansas City players and Josh Allen’s body), and therefore, should’ve gone with the call as made by the referee at the top of the screen. If necessary, especially in a game of this magnitude, the replay official should’ve spoken with the referee at the top and asked him why did he allow the referee at the bottom to overrule him when the referee at the top was the ONLY one with a clear view of the football.

You can clearly see the ball here. He even goes forward even more after this.

How the black ref over rules the white ref on that play makes ZERO sense
It was his side of the field.
I wanted the Bills to win.
IF Allen got the first, he BARELY got it. I haven't seen a video replay that clearly shows him getting it.
I can't complain about the call at all, unfortunately.

We’ve seen some really bad calls go Chiefs’ way but this one is far from clear.

You guys don’t know the definition of “clear”.

Do you think Josh Allen’s hands aren’t connected to his forearms?

I’m not going to argue about who should or shouldn’t be making the call because NONE OF THEM SHOULD.
We have the technology to make these determinations without a shadow of a doubt. Use it.

I think you still can’t see the football.
