It was a fumble and they said recovered by GB Which is why the clock kept running

that would make sense. if a packers player was given possession even though the niners came away with it.

i am just more upset that the announcers didn't question any of it.

I just rewound it and 57 for SF definitely came out with that ball.

You’re right. GB seemed to have it on the ground and then a LB stood up with it as they scrambled to get set.
