This is good I think
NASCAR quickly goes from having one of the oldest sets of Major League Sports executives to one of the youngest, with promotions for Kennedy and O'Donnell.
NASCAR COO - Ben Kennedy (34)
PGA Commissioner - Jay Monahan (55)
NASCAR CEO - Steve O'Donnell (57)
F1 President & CEO - Stefano Domenicali (60)
WNBA Commissioner - Cathy Engelbert (61)
NBA Commissioner - Adam Silver (63)
NASCAR Ex-Commissioner - Steve Phelps (63)
MLB Commissioner - Rob Manfred (67)
NFL Commissioner - Roger Goodell (67)
MLS Commissioner - Don Garber (68)
NCAA President - Charlie Baker (69)
INDYCAR CEO - Mark Miles (72)
NHL Commissioner - Gary Bettman (73)
NASCAR EX-CEO - Jim France (81)

The day Ben Kennedy is running NASCAR is the day we can all relax.

I won’t relax until they fix this crap car and stop spending time in electric cars.

My conspiracy is Nascar wants Bubba to win so badly they gave Toyota an advantage. But he’s not winning. Reddick is running circles around him. They have the same equipment and engines. One was a great hire the other a DEI hire.
Although I agree with your premise that Bubba and Radja get more attention than they deserve it's hard to believe that they would give Toyota an advantage after the way MJ dunked on them in court.
That's literally going to cost them BILLIONS.

On the other hand, Hamlin doesn’t have room to talk because he’s never been in subpar equipment. Heck, RFK isn’t terrible but look at Brad’s performance at Penske compared to where he is now. Could Hamlin do better at RCR? Maybe, but we’ll never know for sure.
Comparing RFK to Penske is like comparing RCR to Gibbs equipment. RFK equipment was a hot mess when Brad got there. Look at their average finish when Brad got there and compare to now. All RFK cars are consistently finishing in the top 15 now with Buesher and Brad getting many top 10s.
RCR is a hot mess and isn't getting any better. Kyle is one of the most pure talented race car drivers to ever strap on a helmet. He's won big in everything he's ever touched. Put him in Gibbs equipment and he's in the top 5 in points right now.
You are right though. Denny in RCR equipment is an also ran.

Is Nascar trying to destroy what remaining fans they have? Are they paying attention to F1 killing that sport with electrics?
Lets kill the one series gaining audience business plan.
No one hates Nascar more than their execs.
I'm not sure what is driving racing execs across the globe to dive into this electric bullshite but it damn sure isn't "data."
Not only do racing fans want NOTHING to do with electric vehicles, but neither do consumers. Outside of Tesla, ALL of the manufacturers are pulling back on their investments into electric. ALL of them.
Why? Because the narrative that built the push to go 'green" was complete and utter bullshite dreamed up by Washington and London "think tanks."
It's complete drivel that isn't supported by FACTS.
We aren't running out of oil
There's more ice at the poles than there was 50 years ago
The oceans aren't rising
My F350 isn't driving the speckled pecker salamander into extinction
IT'S ALL NONSENSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give me my V8 racing or go the frick away

I think we agree with each other. Yes, Brad is an incredible driver and has helped RFK get much better, but they’ll never be on par with Penske as far as seriously competing for championships. You can’t say that Ryan Blaney and Brad have even chances coming to most racetracks. A stellar driver can only bridge the gap to a certain point without good racing equipment.
RCR’s equipment right now is garbage and it’s showing on the track. Kyle Busch can’t get much out of that #8.
It would be neat to see Denny practice 30 laps in an RCR car, get out, and honestly voice the differences between his #11 and RCR’s car.

You must not understand Nascar. They thrive on adversity. Also they settled the case its not billions.
Nascar would give them an advantage because in their screwed up world it creates discussion and controversy if one car maker is doing great. Toyota sponsors Nascar and if you notice during races they have all these Toyota moments like ad free sections and top running Toyotas.
Again, I said it was doubtful but at same time nothing is off the table with these crooked people. The lawsuit wasn’t so much about Jordan/Toyota but the charters for all teams. They just happen to be who sued.
Nascar is a slimy group who have run the sport down so far. But the owners of Nascar are making big money via TV and sponsors. How many times did they steal a sponsor from a car team.
I just put nothing past them. In their minds if Bubba could win more than fluke races it would increase demographic viewers. They hate the regular long term fan. They would go to extremes to have a diverse winner often.

Bob Pockrass
@bobpockrass
NASCAR news release: Jim France stepping down as CEO, Steve O'Donnell becomes CEO (was president), Ben Kennedy (Jim's great-nephew) becomes COO (was an executive VP).
The biggest organizational change is that competition (John Probst) now reports to Kennedy rather than O'Donnell.

Cleetus leading at Talladega under caution with a dozen or so laps to go.

Ready for some today. Let’s hope it’s a good race and not a total domination by Austin Hill and RCR. They’ve had these super speedway tracks dialed in.

Was a wild finish. At one point there was 110K people on that in-car stream.
