If you want to know what the NASCAR shills over on SiriusXM have to say on the matter:

frick it. Let’s put the baws out there in electric Tahoes, Expeditions, and Sequoias! /s
Such a dumb point. Why wasn’t this a problem for how ever many decades these series have run together?
The NOAPS car isn’t the problem, the Cup car is the problem. Change the Cup car.

Yup Pete is all in on the Nascar propaganda. Sold out to them. Nascar controls the media and press passes to get into tracks and garage. Get out of line they pull it.

Jr basically said if they moved to electric then JRM would be out and the series would cease to exist.
Note: NORAPS is same as NOAP

Has anyone listened to Kyle Busch on Hannity’s podcast? I’ve been seeing snippets posted from the interview, and I want to know if it’s worth a listen.

Wow, NOAP is really gaining!

The CW numbers for Kansas, which was the most-watched race there in three years. And another O’Reilly race over 1 mill this season.

I haven’t watched but saw this:
Steven Taranto
@STaranto92
Something that caught my attention from Kyle Busch's interview with Sean Hannity: Kyle mentioned that his team "got our hands smacked" by NASCAR after winning Gateway in 2023 for what they were doing to their cars and were told not to bring it back.
"In 2023 when I won those three races, after the third race that we won at Gateway, we got our hands smacked for some of the stuff that we were doing to the race car that NASCAR didn't like and said 'don't bring that back.'
"It wasn't anything, like, against the rules. It was just, you always exploit the gray area. So we exploited a gray area and we found something and we had an advantage."
Kyle mentioned that something that drew him to RCR in 2022 was that he felt like they were ahead of the curve on the Next Gen car (citing Tyler Reddick's success), but that they've since fallen behind.

Motorsports viewing is up all over the US

Except F1. They won’t release any honest numbers but all my friends and even adult kids stopped watching it and don’t talk about it. Some have migrated to Indy and some just stopped completely. A few watch NOAP and Cup. But it used to be a buzz (F1) and now they just don’t even care.
Indy is making huge efforts to increase viewers while Nascar like they have the past few decades just shite all over themselves. Nascar coming out and even mentioning an electric car yesterday could not be worse timing after the F1 fiasco. And their farm club series is gaining on Cup.
NOAP and Indycar are in great spots to take advantage of F1 missteps. F1 grew a younger demo prior to this year but the problem with that group is no loyalty. They leave fast just like old days when clubs would thrive and die almost overnight as young crowd moved on. There just is no buzz about F1 like prior years. The Apple and electrics have killed it.

You keep harping on F1 without proof for or against in our market
In Europe it’s down in some areas and way up in others
No matter how many times you scream the same thing F1 is by far get biggest and strongest motorsport in the world.
It’s not my favorite form of motorsports, so it’s not like I’m defending my favorite sport.
Now if Miami, Vegas and COTA suffer from attendance numbers then we will have some solid proof

I don’t care about the world I care about USA. And in the states F1 is tanking and NOAP/Indy are increasing. You could have a bazillion Chinamen watching F1 and it has zero to do with US market. I am based in USA and care about US racing. F1 has lost many US viewers.

You have no idea of its tanking or not in the US
Posted on 4/22/26 at 2:38 pm to Gulf Coast Tiger
If it was increasing Apple would plaster the interwebs with the news. Since they won’t publish its tanking. You can read all the online comments about F1 failing its for sure not increasing lol. The electric fiasco plus limited viewing - no way have they dine anything but tank.
Go ahead and believe what you want. Its the same thing Nascar went through changing to car of crap years ago. I would bet F1 lost 25-30% but have no way to prove it just like you have no way to prove it hasn’t tanked. We all know its down though that doesn’t take much to figure out.

You are just guessing
Even without any recent races the most listened to racing podcasts in America are all F1.

3 million for a race that is not Daytona or Indy really is a big number. Really interested is what Talladega does.
