No he didn’t. His tires were “on” the line but not “below” the line. Buch of butt hurt Toyota fans whining online lol. Pass is already made too

I think this is Logano’s first time being upside down since rolling over at Dover back when he drove the 20.

Even TV showed some happy fans lol. Sickos.

I think they should pay some folks money to do an exhibition prior to race where they wreck on purpose. Since fans like these big wrecks can check that block ahead of race.

The more they wreck the more different ways the cars react since each wreck is different. Fine line on someone getting seriously hurt.

I was hoping the RFK cars pass the whole field to show how much a charade this is.

For you guys that like the points system, tell me why anyone who’s not a Larson fan should even watch the last 2 races.

The 3rd place game in the World Cup is more compelling.

Racing used to be about each race and your driver plus seeing some good action.

Nascar and TV is to blame for making racing only about Chase. If you go back racing was always fun and even knowing your driver was out it was still fun seeing if he could win. And to watch the action. Because back then they didn’t talk about the points leader nearly as much it was about the racing.

Now they talk about the chase to start season and all season. And it sucks they do that. So many stories get lost to chase talk.

Didn’t get to watch today due to family obligations so I’m catching up. Wild finish and Larson went from in good position, to in a bad position to somehow winning. Herbst took a couple of really hard hits in the big wreck. Glad he’s okay.

Lol. FWIW I’m not affected one way or the other. My guy was stuck under Logano in that last wreck.

Just stating I’ve seen drivers not go as much “on” as Larson did and get penalized.

And I’ve seen drivers go full on below the line and not get called.

So what the frick is the rule for then?

Because a one race winner take all is a dumb way to crown a champion. Far too much randomness. If someone clinches the title early, so what? The guys earned it. Auto racing isn’t stick and ball sports and never should try to be.

And I was dying laughing at the Rfk deal. The fuel saving is so annoying.

But it ain’t going away. Just kill the stage cautions.

The rule is you can’t go below yellow line defined as both front and rear tire “below” it.

This post race schism is being made up by Toyotathon writers mad that Larson won and likely wins title. They grasped at straws to stir up fans hoping for a haul Mary to save their sponsor Toyota

Rule was not broken. Larson won clean. And made one of the best last lap recoveries/moves ever seen. Dale made moves too but his took more than a lap. It was amazing racecraft to get pushed back and recover and win!

And honestly, Hill should be penalized he did go below line and that allowed him to push Larson up which moved him out of line and back. Hill is an idiot trying to ruin Chase for Larson. Both in Chevies too. Not good. If it was clean pass power to him but it wasn’t

And not a peep out of Toyotathon press. Why is that? Nothing from Nascar either. Regardless him running out of gas he needs to be penalized to prove consistency

All right then.

Frees up time wasted watching an exhibition race.

Hill finished last on lead lap anyway. So a penalty on him would’ve been moot.

I’d have been on board with hill getting a penalty.

I’m just pointing out how inconsistent nascar is when policing this.

No one is talking about the awesome recovery. The line is the story. Shouldn’t be.

Suit yourself. I’ll still watch as many others. Other racing series have champions clinch early all the time.

To have a championship artificially come down to a single race just does not work. And it’s never sat right with me.

They interviewed him on the post race show. He sounded good talking and even cracked a joke. His arm was wrapped up but looked good otherwise.

Was that a cast on his arm?

Do you still have the updated Winston Cup standings you used to post after each race? I’m curious to see if Larson would be on top right now.

Shoot, so Denny would have this one in the bag already. I’d like to get back to this points format, but that’ll probably never happen.

Saw a clip this morning of Keselowski driving from way back in the pack to the front during a fuel saving portion of the race. Pathetic that the fuel saving crap is still happening. Also saw a clip of the RFK cars driving away from the field when they opted not to fuel save while everyone else was.
