Radio clip when he heard there was a chance. Kyle sounded surprised. Cool the team helped him out. The real double

Why 2 Chevies and not 2 Toyotas?

Returning to R&D, the cars of #9-Elliott and #20-Bell

Also returning to the R&D Center for Dyno: Nos. 2, 9, 20, 97

Cup points 2 left for cutoff. If SVG finishes around 20th in both he should lock in.

He runs well at both tracks remaining. Just need to not get swept up in someone else’s mess.

Daytona is always a wildcard. Making it last cut off race is dubious. Some teams close to cutline will race softer. Other teams not wanting to drop in chase standings will race softer to keep existing spots.

Then teams out of chase or locked into chase position will race harder and gamble.

If SVG can finish top 10 next race he will practically lock in unless Preece finishes better. Even then it would take a miracle to overcome SVG

SVG should play it conservative and ride in the back If he gets a good finish at New Hampshire. Don’t risk getting caught up in the big one early on.

I didn’t mention but the truck race did not have Jamie Little in booth and it was so much better. Mikey can get carried away but he at least raced and knows stuff and isn’t fake.

So NOAPS has two weeks off in a row after just taking a week off after Indy.

Two guys to watch for that seat in 28. Carson kvapil and Austin Cindric in my opinion.

Possibly Corey Day as well if he spends 2027 in the NOAPS. Kvapil is a good possibility, but that ride is a step down imo for Cindric. Does Penske have another driver they’re going after?

I don’t see Corey day at trackhouse. Justin marks is probably chapped at this. Doubt he takes a Hendrick prospect just to lose another.

I don’t think Cindric will have many options if Penske cuts him loose. I think Penske will look at Zane smith and Layne Riggs.

They kicked tires on Buescher earlier this year. Buescher turned it down. Cindric does not have a contract for next year yet. Will likely get a 1 year extension.

Honestly, Cindric should drop down to a lower series like Daniel Hemric. Layne Riggs could be an interesting prospect in that #2 seat.

What if Trackhouse drops down to two cars and sells their charter to Brad at RFK? He’d jump on that in a heartbeat.

Personally think they’ll have two open seats in 2028. They’ll keep Shane but I think Ross will look elsewhere. Wouldn’t be shocked to see Dodge and Kaulig drop a bag in Ross lap.
