7-1 Rummel now in 2nd game
Each team with 3 hits. LOL
I think PBHS could start each inning w bases loaded and 1 out and not score
Wooten out early at 76 pitches. Not sure if he gave up a hit

Wow, that seems to be their MO the last few years. Do they just not have kids with some of the pubic schools in the are now upgrading their programs? In the past seems they pulled a lot of Central,Ascension & Livingston kids.

Their overall best position player and one of their D1 pitchers are transfers in previous years.
The girls sports are not suffering, but it’s evident that football and baseball haven’t been trending in the right direction, but I wouldn’t venture a guess on where that fits in the BR area as it relates to recruitment of talent.
As far as baseball goes, w/o Fontenot in the lineup, the offense is anemic. Pretty much missed the playoffs last year, was off to a good start this year, and now will be out for a substantial amount of time again. Kid is a difference maker when he can play.

WM recap from their Facebook
Rebels come from behind to beat St Amant 3-2.

I'm guessing they are all held back in 8th grade?
Is literally the recommendation of today's school psychologist/researchers
Not held back in 8th grade but held back from the beginning for boys no matter if its for sports or school/maturity
All my kids girls or boys if born after Feb got held back/started late and it similar for most people in the community

Rummel finished the sweep of PBHS with a 3-2 win
Third different bat providing a HR in the series with 4 outs to go to tie
Beckers pitched a great game and had 2 of Parkview’s 3 total hits and an RBI, w Sorrel doubling in the other run
I wasn’t there, but following on GC, it appeared Rummel bunted the winning run in from 3rd off of a reliever

ASH lost to North Desoto and Jesuit this weekend, best Central. Curse of lack of run production cost us, Had some good pitching performances, have two sophomore guys that have really matured this year. So that has been nice.

CCA's season is going to depend on how many 19yr old players they have this year. I think 3 of them finally moved on to college. Prayers they have some more college sophomores to replace them with.

They were in our district in 2013/2014 and were good, but nothing more than a solid 1A team.
