7 in the last 3 years. I’m not 100% sure that number isn’t higher. I want to say Catholic beat WM in the finals with Josh Smith one year as well.

BM beat French Settlement, 3-0.
BM plays Zachary at 6 pm today and St Michael at 6 pm tomorrow.

Barbe losses to the bennet school 2-1. The Texas commit started for bennet school and was running it up to 95. Gave up 2 hits and 1 er. The rice commit came in pumping 92 with a nasty slider.
Alexander for barbe pitched complete game, 1er and 4 hits. Pitched awesome, running it up into upper 80s, may have touched 90. Back to form from before the injury. Barbe 1 run came after Alexander hit shot that was caught on warning track in dead center, then Jordon griffin singled, stole 2nd and the catcher got the other hit for the night to bring him in.
Barbe had 4 errors, two in a row and a sac fly got Bennett on the board. The 1 er was the dowell kid hitting a monster shot to left center.
Their pitching staff is up there for sure
Sam Houston beat Beaumont Kelly 8-3. BK has couple kids in low 90s
Bennet school plays at Sam Houston tomorrow. They are freaking good and they want all the smoke.
St. Louis, Westlake, grand lake all won too.

At 14 major /aaa a kid can go from top to bottom very quickly

ASH over St Fredericks 21-4 and 12-2. Sloppy game by both teams, ASH did hit the ball fairly well, with 7-8 multiple base hits. Took a while to get offense going, but once it did it was ok against pretty subpar pitching.
Ruston over Haughton 5-3, will be an interesting series to follow. I know Ruston scrimmaged WM and had some success, or at least I heard that. And I respect Haughtons program.
Will be interesting to see how Neville competes, lost to Sulphur 6-3 I think.

Good to see JD back pitching. Got to see him some growing up, but his arm has always been an issue. Hopefully stays healthy
I think Opelousas Catholic beat Kelly by the same score, 8-3, which seems odd. Gonna make me check GC

Ugly for PBHS with unearned runs galore. I left when it was 7-4 and St Amant had 1 hit to the OF. A single that got past the RF
St Amant solid defensively. Brusly must have concrete under the turf around the plate. Not often do you see a ball beat down in front bounce 50 feet high. Saw it twice today. LOL

Barbe beats OC 18-8. They were up 11-1 and pulled Washington and tried some freshman, OC got it to 12-8 and then Barbe finished it off in the 6th

He pitched and lost game 1. Didn’t give up much, but the one mistake was a 2 run bomb. Lost 3-1.
