So what we’re saying is now when you walk you have a time limit to get to first base? I thought ball four entitled you to first base, free and unimpeded, no matter how long it actually took you to get there?

It's not a time limit
It's that the batter/base runner stopped advancing towards 1st base
At that point he's considered to have abandoned the base paths

Catholic is down this year. Too many holes in their batting lineup. Huge drop off after BM’s two starters and Catholic can’t even hit this kid in 5 innings
