Good, the new regs are shite and I'm glad RPM went all in on it in his video. Exposing F1 for hiding responses on their socials to the overwhelming displeasure with Mario Kart racing.

I can’t see the Miami GPX making much difference this year. The silver arrows are on a different lvl this year.

I don’t think so, I think they tweaked something with energy recharge during qualifying only. Waiting til Miami to make a big change. Fred Vasseur said he expects it to be almost be a different championship starting in Miami.

I feel bad for any new F1 fans. They should be watching roaring V10s being put in a chokehold by the best drivers on the planet. Instead, they get to learn about super clipping and battery management.
If no real changes happen in Miami it's going to be the worst season ever.
I just hope Max is giving the rest of the drivers confidence to complain. He has been complaining since 2023 and he is right.

It's confusing as hell for experienced fans who can tell you what MGU-H and MGU-K mean. I mean right on this page there is confusion on whether the electric/ICE balance has changed for Suzuka. I also believe that it was adjusted for qualy only. Which means that the race is going to be a dropping-rev shite show through 130R all the way until they start braking for the chicane. A new fan has no chance to understand this shite, unless they are already really into technical stuff and are happy to read up on the 2026 PU rules.
There was a comment a page or two ago about Sharl and another driver saying that when they pushed even harder to improve a qualy lap, that they actually went slower because they were running out of charge sooner. That says everything about what's wrong with the 2026 rules. Push harder, go slower.
That's exactly what Formula E is, smart energy management. Formula E already exists, let them have that. Formula 1 has to be "push harder, go faster." Duh!
