There were plans for Ricciardo to do that a couple years ago before ge resigned with Red Bull.
Seem to remember it was for a Montreal race.

He did one episode, but it sucked.

He doesn't have it in him anymore, imo.
He was solidly in that 3-5 spot for the first couple of races until Mclaren and now RB have figured out the car.
Maybe Kim K is in his ear and he will run after that disaster full time

30 min left in the first session and Max holds the quickest lap by 8 seconds

Now its pouring and they are reporting sleet/hail... Max must be fully erect even though his day is likely over.

Jesus. lol. Thanks for posting the video of that. Tuned in and caught the last hour or so of it.
As I was turning it off just now one of the fans mooned the camera. Crazy arse place.

What was this driver thinking. Why walk towards the race track?

Yeah, again, that place is crazy. Seeing race cars passing tow trucks on the track is hard to imagine after what’s happened in F1.

Youd think they have enough common sense but a lot of those drivers aren't exactly professional. Many are professional weekend warrior types.
Not sure who that guy is though.

Ford wanted Max in the Mustang GTD. I’m sure he didn’t care to be in the heaviest car on the track. Sounds like they are going to try hard to get him in the WEC car they are building but not in its first year. They want to fix all the problems before they get him in it.
My question is: If Max was in the mustang gtd this weekend and won, would ford get any credit for the win or would all the credit go to Max?

Saw that a bit ago, would be interested in a wider shot to see what the hell actually happened.
I'd bet there were plenty of indicators of the stalled car and the driver just ignored. He will certainly lose his license to race there.

Both. Car has to make it 24 hrs and be competitive. Team has to be operationally sound. Drivers have to be quick. Multiple drivers.

New car/team coming in and being reliable enough for 24hrs would be impressive.
Endurance racing is an underrated engineering feat.

I would love to see him in the GT40 at LeMans. It would give him a new challenge and Ford would be very happy.
Edit. I didnt know the dates of LeMans. He cannot race LeMans this year due to the BARCELONA-CATALUNYA Grand Prix

Lol who does Ford think they are talking about right now.

2nd Quali is on... Doubt Max will drive since he drove the first one.

I'm curious how Genesis will do at Le Mans this year. Finishing both cars would be a huge victory. They've shown promise in the first two 6h races. Better than Aston at this point last year.
Genesis designed their hyper with Oreca (Alpine and Acura also use Oreca for chassis), and that's who Ford will also be using for their hyper. It'll be interesting to see how Ford adopts to a hybrid NA-V8. Their non-hybrid NA-V8 in the GT3 Mustang is an absolute beast. It smokes people on the straights, and it's rock solid for long endurance races.
