Is this how Christian Horner finds a way back?

Is this not one of the reasons they put off giving Cadillac a team for so long?

All the reasons they didn't want Andretti involved....

An ME buyer is probably already secured.

What’s this got to do with Andretti?

Just that they didn't like Andretti as an owner and it felt like they wanted someone more polished or wealthier.

I sure hope it’s not a ME buyer. Would Penske be interested?

I doubt he buys a team in a series he sees as a competitor.

I only vaguely know that Walter is in some shite and trying to dump things for cash. $2b in and $3b out ain't a bad deal. Kind of kills the old meme of becoming a millionaire in racing by starting as a billionaire.

Dorilton bought Williams for $200mm. Put in like $450mm to upgrade stuff. Team is now worth $2.5b. obviously way more than those few numbers, but it's insane how much F1 teams are worth these days.

I don’t think Cadillac losing $400 mil in their first season is a huge problem or surprise. The value of these teams is wild.

How in the world?

Is it because of the revenue sharing stuff?

Scarcity plus the cost cap. F1 teams have gone from money pits to major investments. Claire williams ran out of cash at the exact wrong time, and Dorilton swooped in before the cost cap made teams so much more valuable.

This probably causes the cancellation of a couple races. I think they were gonna force MotoGP to go so they could use that to force F1.

He is in some big doodoo. Had to sell the Lakers after only a year because of some shady investment math. He’s trying to get enough cash to make the math work and be able to hold onto the Dodgers.

Seems like Camara is a shoo-in for the seat. But if they announce anyone other than Ocon or Hirakawa, I need to update the TD F1 data to include Camara in the driver list before anyone can update their list for Brazil. So I am hoping they make the announcement soon.

The decision to race Camara only relates to this weekend's race at Interlagos for now. Hirakawa could theoretically also race again, but Jack Doohan now can't (unless special dispensation is given) as teams are only allowed four different race drivers in a season #F1

All right folks, Camara is now on the Reserve Drivers list. Drag Camara up to the Top 22 list and drag Ocon down to the Reserve Drivers list.

(You might have to hit refresh first to see Camara on the list.)
