Can't believe they told Russell to get out of the way for Kimi. Just solidified Russell is the number 2 driver and people were complaining about payaya rules last year

Was a good race. George shouldn’t have moved over.

Kimi was on fresh softs. If George didn't let him by there was a chance that Lewis could have passed both of them.

Not to be all "a champion wouldn't"

But I dont think Max or Lewis move over. They run their race and make the challenger pass.

It was funny after he was told to let Kimi through when George asked something like, "Kimi's going for the win, right?" when it looked like Lando was probably safe in the lead.

Catching up late. I was not expecting a race anywhere near that good today. I was expecting a 1-stop snoozer.

A lot's been covered already with Ferrari and Merc strategy and calls. Just gotta put Sainz on blast for that lockup into T1 into his teammate. Like, you're racing for no reason. You're both at the back of the order and your teammate has much newer tires. Just let him go.

My wife was asking about why isn’t Cadillac more competitive this morning

I told her they are a first year team and they have a lot to learn. I told her they would be competitive in a few years because they are basically an Andretti team in Europe

She also didn’t understand the teammates being ordered to move over

She is a nascar fan, so that was foreign to her

I think Lewis did last year for Sharl.

Max wouldn’t, and didn’t in the past.

Why, there was 0 chance Russel would have been able to defend him on 15 lap hard tires compared to brand new softs. Them fricking around and Russel slowing him down would have just let Ferrar get even closer.

Was Checo, Yuki, Ricciardo, etc... leading the drivers championship?

I like seeing them race and fight it out papaya style rules, but when your competition for the constructors and the 2nd place driver in the championship is coming up, its a time to admit reality and that George could not have defended Kimi for 10 laps. There was 0 upside for either driver.

eta: now should they have told him to let him pass and then Kimi to stay wihin a second to give him DRS, probably. They def hung George out to dry, but frick him.

I'm glad it ended up being a watchable race. Its one of my favorite tracks because I'm a sucker for banked curves.

All right, the TD F1 Championship results are in!

dg42.net/TDF1/race-results.php?race=12

The winner of the 2026 TD F1 Dutch Grand Prix is auisssa, for his second win of the season and his third podium, all coming in the last four races! It's also his sixth race in a row scoring points!

Fillling out the podium, in P2 we have MikeD for his third podium (and his first podium since Race 2 at China), and in P3 we have WAY2GOLSU, for his fourth podium.

Here's the championship table: dg42.net/TDF1/index.php

MississippiLebowski in P1 added valuable points with a P4 finish, but the gaps are closing...

WAY2GOLSU is still in P2 but has reduced the gap to Lebowski by three points.

MikeD is still in P3 and reduced his gap to P2 by three points.

auisssa has risen to P4 from P6 with his win. He is shooting up the standings with two wins and three total podiums in just the last four races.

Lsut81 didn't score and dropped a spot to P5, giving up a four-race scoring streak.

TouchedTheAxeIn82 rose two spots to P6 after a P5 race finish.

Noryev did not score and dropped two spots to P7 . He had scored six times in the previous seven races.

pitstop dropped another spot to P8 as he marks a seven-race scoreless streak.

BottomlandBrew has maintained his position in P9 but is now tied with pitstop on points, poised to move up.

Oh wait, I just noticed jefforize with another patented P11 finish in the Dutch GP!

Max couldn't make a whole lap today without fricking it up. Dude does good when he has the best car.

Did he have best car last year when he pushed Lando to the end and made up 100pts in the back half of the season?

The consensus was it was a shitbox in comparison to the other top teams and he drug it to the top.
