one other thing..although the rule hasn't changed, its "evolved". At the nurburging in the early 2000s, Schumacher got pushed out of a gravel trap by some marshals and was allowed to rejoin. FIA said his car kept running and was in a dangerous area. That's evolved into if you get beached and require any outside assistance, you're done

Russell was beached early in the race, and presumably MB got the car back. So why no send him back out? Sponsors are paying for (2) cars.

It’s a lot different than NASCAR or Indy Car. No outside assistance allowed

I don’t think the driver can push his on car. I think if they get out of the car they are done racing. Sometimes they can get out under a red flag but that’s it.

I like the old NASCAR rules

If it can be driven, let’s get some laps in

eah that was an interesting interview while he was holding back tears..

Going back to this... I only heard it and you could tell he was holding back tears on the audio broadcast. Just saw the video and the dude was literally puffy eyed and about to cry. Russell is such a puss

It was a solid performance by Charl, but he only ever had the lead because of the weirdly timely VSC's.

I had to leave. Did we ever find out what those were for?

The German broadcast aired George ripping into the team.

All right, the TD F1 Championship results are in!

dg42.net/TDF1/race-results.php?race=10

The winner of the 2026 TD F1 Belgian Grand Prix is MississippiLebowski, for his fourth podium and third win of the season!

The podium is filled out by WAY2GOLSU in P2 for his third podium, and Greace in P3, for his second podium.

BottomlandBrew in P4 has just his third points finish of the season, although he's doing well in the championship on the strength of a win at Monaco.

jefforize will be relieved with a strong P5 finish to get his season back on track.

Here's the championship table: dg42.net/TDF1/index.php

With another win, MississippiLebowski is now dominating the standings. This is bad, we don't want anyone running away with the championship. Others need to step up, learn from this year's master prognosticator, and grab some wins.

MikeD is hanging on to P2 on the strength of a decent P6 finish.

With his third P2 finish this season, WAY2GOLSU has shot up from P6 in the standings to P3, just a single point behind MikeD.

Despite a decent P7 finish, Lsut81 has dropped a spot down to P4 in the championship.

Noryev's five-race hot streak has come to an end with a P13 finish, and he drops a spot in the standings.

With his P10 finish, flyingtexastiger has now scored points for two races in a row.

Somehow, Gulf Coast Tiger is dead last in the standings with just 3 points. I say this with shock because GCT has been actively updating his list throughout the season. There are six players ahead of GCT who haven't updated their lists since March.

Imagine George finds himself without a Merc seat next year.

We all say RBR is his landing spot but damn I just don't know.

Poor bastard would probably end up like Sainz and be stuck with Williams as the only option.

Keep that 11th placement warm for me because I’m sure I’ll reclaim it soon

Thats a good comparison of where he is talent wise and where he could end up.

Better check himself, he hasn't won anything to be an a-hole to leadership like Max and will find himself in a Williams or Alpine, forgotten about if he keeps it up.
