Nobody gets a ridiculous penalty quite like Carlos. It seems like he's always penalized for something that makes no sense at all.

Yeh that’s a weird one. Surely someone on the Williams pit wall knew that he had not been lapped. I guess the lead car could pass you while you are in the pit lane, but honestly I would expect the driver to know if he had been lapped.

Looks like the big story was about Scott Dixon leaving chip ganassi racing and moving to the arrow McLaren Indy car team. I thought that news came out last week but looks like it is official now.

I thought the Buxton tweet was what started it all. Everyone was talking about how he tweeted the same thing right before Lewis to Ferrari broke.

I'm unhappy as a Williams fan, I can't imagine being a driver. Every time they take a step forward they end up shooting themselves in the foot. Like how can you not be ready for testing at the beginning of the year?
I was hoping after a strong finish last year they'd make a small jump or at least maintain, but things do not look good.

The explanation was in the stewards report. The panels by the course were green the whole time, I think this is what saved him. Light on his wheel was yellow for very short time and then cleared. Not hard to see where he would get a pass.

I understand. You want to be able to see your own list quickly during the lockdown when everyone's list is shown. Webber has had some sort of falling out with McLaren. He is not as involved on race weekends as he was in the past. I don’t think it affected his relationship with Piastri.

They're really trying to gaslight us into thinking the Madring will be good for racing, aren't they? I'm sure the track is awesome for hot laps. I'm still not convinced it will be good for racing.

Think that is typical of Webber with anyone. Made the right move with Piastri and Alpine but it has been one of this few wins.
