Definitely didn’t seem like max had his normal edge.
Gotta give it to Kimi for stellar qualifying.
Hope Ferraris swamp him tomorrow in the beginning and him and George end up fighting some more somehow. That’s been entertaining.

Liam Lawson is quietly having a very good season.

Racing bulls built a good car. Seems to be very easy to drive and I don’t think they’ve had any reliability issues. Better at getting off the line than Red Bull.

The F2 sprint race was a lot of fun with a last lap pass by Tsolov. He is very talented
The F2 championship race between him and Mini is going to be full of drama

I didn't love the outcome and was watching the kids broadcast but didn’t think it was all that fun or exciting.
If it wasn’t fun on the kids version, you would have hated the adult version

Yeah, I don’t get it. Everyone was saying it was a great sprint race but I must have missed it all.

It was interesting for the first few laps with people running out of battery and getting leap frogged, only a min later to have it happen to them.
Hopefully we get some action tomorrow with PIT strategy coming into play.

I don't think so. He got promoted to F1 because he showed tremendous potential in the lower levels. He did pretty well with a part-time drive in 2023-2024 but started getting into clashes with other drivers, most notably co-worker Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso. His arrogance and immaturity became the highlight, So the negativity was warranted. Then Red Bull made a big mistake promoting him to a known very difficult car after just 12-13 F1 races. So he got unceremoniously dumped back to VCARB, given a fresh start but his reputation in tatters. Not his fault, but back at VCARB, rookie Hadjar outperformed him.
Lawson's potential was real but it has taken longer for him to settle down than guys like Antonelli, Hadjar, and now Lindblad, who I think is progressing quickly. Lawson deserved his lumps, and now he deserves some recognition for settling in to show his real potential.

There was a lot of overtaking in the sprint race but it looked a lot more like videogame racing than the last two rounds.

He was thrown into the RB (not rb) car too quickly especially considering how “fronty” it was—basically built for Max.

Then again I may be biased. LSU fan who went to a top 10 school despite filling out fasfa forms and worked in M&A once. Bias will be bias, but I see the will against adversity and can’t help to pull for them.

Love your work, but I suggest when clicking on “my prediction” on your site. I’d like to see my prediction and not everyone else’s way before mine.

Watching Sky sports now and Karun has a special with Ollie Bearman driving Senna’s black and gold JPS Lotus 85 F1 car and Ollie was in tears after a few laps.
Great special.
Great special.

I saw where Ollie said the car was hard to drive because it had three pedals. Weird to think about F1 drivers that arnt used to driving manual transmissions.
