The numbers are the numbers. I won’t argue in this thread don’t want to clutter it. There is an Indy thread but t I wanted to show what I said way early in this F1 thread that Indy would make out big on F1 mistakes and so far its proving true. Nascar did the same thing over a decade ago and fans/series mouthpieces argued it would be fine. They lost over 75-80% of what they had 15 years ago.

Just providing facts as well to put the viewership in perspective. Their debut drew less viewers than last year and a new race to the calendar around Cowboys Stadium drew a lot of eyes.
Race for Race against last year the viewership hasn't see that much growth. Also the 2025 Long Beach race went up against The Masters. In years past they would have over 1MM viewers for the race.

Miami FP1 will be 90 mins to give teams more time to iron out the new changes.

Stefano is a fricking goon... Like I said previously, he and F1 are gaslighting the fans and drivers.
frick him. Its going to be great to watch him flop in the wind as F1 continues to lose viewership this year.

Why the rule changes if everything is great?
Why the emergency meetings?

I feel like someone needs to tell him to STFU because I feel like he's making it worse by doubling down.

There’s no way they could have made a mistake. They’re way too smart and get paid way too much money.

Like I said, the gaslighting coming from them is astonishing.
But hey, trust the man, he did amazing things at Ferrari, amirite?

I bet he is surrounded by “yes men” that tell him what he wants to hear

I just don't understand why they cannot admit they made a mistake and take the next few years trying to minimize the mistake. Instead, they chose to ignore the mistake, gaslight us and alienate drivers and fans.
I know money and ego won't let them but maybe try something genuine and honest before you destroy your sport. They don't want to admit that if Max leaves, he is taking fans with him. If they don't think that's the case, then look no further than last weekend at Nürburgring during the NLS. I would have to think that coverage of that event was the most ever or in a long time.

If Max and Hamilton retire they will have a bigger problem.
George Russell could become the face of F1.

Then the crash with Bottas in Imola happened that was his fault and he came off as an entitled brat and he hasn't really been likable since then. He's a cringy bastard
