I like a little post-race fighting every once in a while.

Side note: I’m kind of surprised to see that the first driver who got out of his car was wearing an open face helmet.

It seems like teams like Spire and Kaulig never stick with one personnel setup for very long, which usually isn’t a good thing.

I see we’re still making this as complicated and gimmicky as possible.

Charlotte
1000 hp
Invert the top half/third of the field at some point

You’re welcome

They're going to rue that decision.

Childers is arguably the best CC in the garage.

He would be a nice replacement for the 9 car. Not running bad but need a spark and change can do that.

From Childers

This shows how bad it is.

In the last 3 Cup races there have been 17 combined lead changes. Fewest over 3 races since …. 1978.

Couple things. Notice how its a plate drafting track yet cars are not nose to tail so tightly packed and can move around and make moves.

Also the TV camera angles are so much better with wider views showing more action.

I now want to go to the IMHOF. That car is iconic.

For anyone who might have a deeper understanding than me, would today’s cars with more HP produce racing like that? Or is there more to it?

In my opinion, there's much more to it mainly having to do with aerodynamics. The cars today are too "smooth." They don't punch a big enough hole in the air for the cars behind them to be able to move around very much without losing the draft.

I'll also say that good racing can be accomplished without having to increase HP.

I've been saying for 15 years, raise the front air dam, lower the rear spoiler and soften the tires and the on the track product instantly improves.

Interesting that no one commented on the end of the X race yesterday. Once again. NASCAR stepped on their own dick and screwed the fans out of a great finish.

The spun car was well out of the racing surface and the cars had passed him by. Let them race to the damn finish line!!!!!!!!!!!

Because at this point its comical. Also, how can they tell who won using an angle thats not from side?

Also, why is the wall different in the pics? Angle? Strange

Jeb handled that WAY better than I would have. Jesse also had a great argument to make. Dominated the whole damn race and then cannot let the outcome be decided among the competitors.
