Would like to see Busch get the win today. It’ll probably be Logano, though.

Heads up move by the 20 team. They didn’t get one of the lug nuts tight and had they pulled back on the track and lost a wheel, it would’ve been a two lap penalty. The crew chief caught it and told Bell to pull into one of his teammates’ pit stall and have them tighten the lug nut. He pulled into the 19’s stall and they tightened it for him. He goes to the tail of the line for pitting outside his stall, but that’s better than the alternative.

Kyle Busch just had a loose wheel and hit the backstretch wall on the restart.

Awesome for Berry and the 21 team. That car was legitimately fast today.

Good for Berry. I was glad to see he didn’t tear the car up doing a burnout.

Moving the telecasts was not a good idea. This is last week at Phoenix

NASCAR Cup at Phoenix hits cable high, down big from last year on broadcast

NASCAR Cup Series racing from Phoenix averaged a 1.4 rating and 2.82 million viewers on FS1 last Sunday, marking the largest Cup Series audience on cable in nearly four years (2021 Darlington: 3.1M) — but also a decline of 36% and 30% respectively from the same race last year, which aired on the FOX broadcast network (2.2, 4.03M).

Phoenix was the first of ten races that will shift from broadcast last year to cable or streaming this year. Between now and late October, only two races are set for broadcast TV.

Probably get more views posting race on regular youtube at this point.

They have to know this is terrible for NASCAR right?

I'll be curious to see how Prime does. I bet more people have Prime than FS1.
