I personally like Larson as a driver but that last lap in regulation was on him. He deliberately pushed the best car in the race into the fence. He knew he wasn't clear and just kept coming, taking Cindric and Byron out. Yeah, I know, NASCAR has zero appetite to punish the obvious.

I agree, but with the way NASCAR officiates (and with winning races being all that really matters) I have a hard time blaming drivers for driving that way.

And Larson was in a near panic trying to finally win on a superspeedway. It all adds up to chaos and NASCAR loves that stuff.

Question for the older fans: is Richard Childress the Bill Belichick of NASCAR?
No titles before Earnhardt, no titles since Earnhardt.
I'll hang up and listen.

RCR rarely had the best cars out there, which is entirely on Childress. He had the sponsorship money to be better.
Earnhardt could finish top 5 with the 20th best car on the track. That's why he won so many championships. (That's a quote from a fellow driver back then)
I expected them to be a mid pack team after he was gone and that is exactly what they have been over the past 20+ years.

Just look at what Harvick did immediately after leaving RCR

Why did we need to change the repair rule anyway?

They are losing a long straight and legit passing zone. Increasing the amount of laps so the cars go past more often. We shall see.

My take. She does great in pit reporting. But is horrible in booth. Sounds fake and trying too hard to sound like emotions in play. Just a bad sound in booth. Like said, I think she is great in pits. Booth seems pushed like DEI hire rather than right fit.
Booth is really more a fit than prior experience. Its what works rather than lets get a female in booth. Thats my problem with Nascar is always trying to push DEI on track or booth lately. Vs who is best
Now in Indy booth? Boo
