Man, I really hate watching races at this track. Is it turn 2? Turn 6? Turn 8? They all look the same. I have the same gripe for WEC races here.

Peter Windsor was saying the same in his most recent video.

Well there was a "pass" at the end when Yuki was given a 5-second penalty for track limits and Kimi passed him. Then a minute later Kimi was given a 5-second penalty for track limits, and the original finishing order was restored.

Yeah, that was pretty rough.

The only* thing sprint race weekends are good for are that it seems to mess up one of the team’s preparation abilities.
May be Red Bull’s or Ferrari’s this weekend.

*In person they make the whole weekend “matter”

Yep, they help the promoter jack up the ticket prices.

Preview of what we will see tomorrow. George saying the mediums were almost toast after 19 laps sounds like 25 lap limit may be too much.

To be fair, George is always a little whiny about stuff like that. He’d say that while Kimi was driving the same tires with 20 more laps on them.

That's true. Seeing the RBR adjustment for quali will be interesting.

Mistakes in setup by RBR has probably lost him the title fight. Between today and whatever happened in Brazil Max could have been within half a race from the leader.

He could have also not rammed George and also be in a much improved position

Would have been peak drama for him to lose the title due to his red mist.

Anytime you are wondering how F1 media operates....

Compared to the full quote....

quote:

He’s very welcome to say whatever he wants to be honest. he kind of earned the right, he's won four world championships. i have a lot of respect and i think that gives anyone a lot of credit in general. he's achieved an incredible amount, more than anyone generally dreams of achieving. max generally has a good clue about a lot of things but there's also a lot of things he doesn't have much of a clue about.

But it's also red bull's way of going about things, it's his kind of aggressive nature and just talking nonsense a lot of the time. so it depends if you want to listen to it and talk about it, like you love to, or you do what we do as a team, which is just kind of keep our heads down and keep focused. maybe he would have done, but he hasn't so far, and he keeps trying

All right, Piastri keeping the championship alive!.

Max just needs to muscle past Lando at Turn 1.

Hadjar lost control and went off the track on his last lap, but he only lost one place to Kimi. Still starting P6. Ending the year strong on his way to Red Bull.
