Well for FP1 the commentator, don't remember who was in the garages for that one, said that the stands were half full and they did an initial pan and it was empty... They never showed another shot of the stands after that.
Noticed that too.

Kym Illman had a couple pictures and said Sunday was pretty full. He is usually pretty straight shooting on this critiques so they probably had the main stands full.
I don't know how they count attendance anyway with all the hotels having their own viewing areas.

No clue, but know for the first year F1 and city officials were going around trying to make those with views of the track pony up like 1500 per capacity numbers if they were open on race night.
Either way, I'd imagine that it isn't the money maker it was for year 1 at this point. And the locals fricking hate it.
I was considering a vegas trip last week or week before but decided not to due to knowing how demolished and obstructed the strip is until early December now.

How much longer will Lewis trundle along in 8th-12th positions? No one is talking about him anymore.

As much as the sport would like to forget it. F1 raced in Vegas before Indy Car did.

Yeah, they had that shitty course across the interstate from Ceasers if I remember right. Kind of where Allegiant is.

A lot of smoke around Horner to Aston Martin.
ESPN even reporting a likely move there.

hmm, so Newey and Horner reuinite, along with Honda at AM.
Wonder where Max stands on this.

Newey and Horner are apparently still really good with each other.
I still don't see some astronomical jump from where they are at though

OT: Mick Schumacher signs with Rahal Letterman Lanigan for the full IndyCar season.

Agree... I think you have to stick with the tried and true over the last 20yrs.
Merc
RB (although think they will lose their magic after this season)
Ferrari (clusterfrick with leadership though)
Mclaren (nowhere for Max)

I believe that was where Williams clinched their first F1 title, with Alan Jones, I think

Max has 366 points.
And the RB 2nd seat has................
28 points.
That's just freaking insane. They ought to be able to fall arse backwards into 50 points. Just crazy.

Someone had done the math and had Lando's *engine not blown up in the Dutch GP he would have clenched the title Saturday night only to have it taken away.
What drama we could have had.

Hmm, that would be an interesting domino...
Who backfills him at Ferrari? Does Max take a chance with that clusterfrick of an organization? Or does Piastri/Lando look to move over there to be the true #1 and open up an opportunity for Max to move to McLaren.

F1TV did some analysis and said the gap between Max and the #2 driver has been fairly consistent among Gasly, Albon, Perez, and Tsunoda. The difference this year is how tightly packed the field is in this 4th year of the current rules.
And now, the reputations of the first three drivers have recovered (even Perez), but Tsunoda is a bum who has no business in F1.
