Midnight was just a crazy start time. Didn’t make sense for the US market at all.

I mean, 11p EST isn't a whole lot better relatively speaking.

No championship for Massa

I wonder if he'll proceed with whatever this means (last paragraph):

quote:

The Court has otherwise permitted the unlawful means conspiracy claim against the three Defendants to proceed to a full trial albeit on significantly narrowed grounds and subject to (i) reformulation of the claim by Mr Massa; (ii) the French law expert evidence mentioned above; and (iii) any applications for permission to appeal.

Funny seeing them pimping the Disney/F1 collection so hard this weekend when ABC/Disney just lost the broadcast rights to F1 a couple of weeks ago

Looks like the tweet from the FIA account has been community noted. A lot of confusion on what exactly happened with Felipe Massa’s case today. He says he won.

I read it earlier as his lawsuit against the FIA could go forward

FP1 is about to start!

At a hotel with ESPN news so I’m watching tonight. Might have to try the Sling pass for this weekend.

Wish they could have gotten away with those daft punk style helmets a few years ago.

Track is dirtier than the hooker at Golden Nugget.

Said it will rain Saturday. This race will be a shite show.

After the first medium run, both Red Bulls, Ferraris, and Williams are ahead of both McLarens. Mercedes has one car faster than both McLarens.

Now they are switching to softs.

Interesting first session.

Yuki driving like a front runner for the first time all season.

Both Red Bulls and both Williams in the top 5, ahead of the McLarens, who aren't as fast out of the box, but may catch up in the next session. Mercedes struggling a little as well.

I was going to say VCARB struggling, but Hadjar got a fast lap in there at the end. Haas is struggling.

MSB’s favorite CEO Zach Brown said he didn’t expect Vegas to be their best Circuit. Said it’d be similar to Montreal for them with the low grip and cold temps.

If Yuki can keep this up, he'll have a chance to help Max close the gap. He just needs to finish in front of one or both McLarens as Max wins the race. A tall order, but he's trying to save his career--miracles can happen.
