We need to have a rolling start, but can enable DRS on the 2nd lap...

Lando has really stepped up in the last few races.

MotoGP sprint race about to start on FS1.

Well that was an interesting sprint race...

What a shunt that was from Bortoleto...one of the biggest of the season.

Yeh was a nasty wreck, thrashed the whole car. His team is busy right now.

Albon was super lucky to only catch a wing under his car. Gabi was moving damn quick when he lost it. Caught the wall with all four wheels in the air.

Finally saw some F1 this weekend via DirecTV at the camp. Piastri is going to be so pissed after this season. Think he’ll consider going somewhere else if it holds like this.

Oscar won’t have anybody to be mad at but himself, it’s not like other drivers are taking him out or he’s dealing with reliability issues. Seems like the pressure is getting to him. He’s got the yips right now. Lando lost a podium because of an engine failure

Yep, completely agree. I just think he’ll want to move on from McLaren sooner than Lando if it holds like this.

Which is crazy because I was so dejected after Zandovoort.

Were the Brazilian fans cheering even harder when the Argentine crashed?

Yeh it was looking bad for Lando. In a straight fight Oscar probably could have held on. Since Max rejoined the fight Oscar hasn’t been has been cracking.

Bortoleto was doing 210mph when he first touched the wall.

I think one of the announcers said that they weren't in the braking zone yet, so DRS was still enabled.

I was recently watching a video about the 2026 cars, and they said that the reason (or one of the reasons) that both wings move in the new car is that with the current configuration, when DRS is enabled, the car is completely out of balance. Full downforce on the front, minimal downforce on the back. That's why Doohan's car snapped so hard at Turn 1 at Suzuka when he tried to take it with DRS enabled.

Bortoleto jerking the wheel with DRS on and a damp track was a recipe for disaster.

34G and 57G? IndyCar drivers say those are rookie numbers.

Another penalty point for Bearman. He must think the FIA is out to get him. He's always complaining about other drivers, but he certainly has his share of bonehead moves. In this case however, I think he got a raw deal. In Bearman's cockpit view, he moved left to try to pass a guy who didn't get off Turn 3 as well. The FIA dinged him for forcing Lawson onto the grass. It was just the obvious Lap 1 argy bargy. I don't think he did anything wrong.

Lawson also got a penalty point for hitting Bearman at Turn 4, he definitely deserved that.

INDYCAR on the oval tracks is awesome. Balls of steel on those drivers. Max was asked about it on a podcast this week. Said it was too dangerous, they hit the wall too hard and a lot of times it’s not even their fault. Not for him but he watches.
