F1TV announcers saw this in terms of "winners" and "losers" and saw Yuki as a loser
Meh, I'm not going to read anything into it. We know where Yuki is at as a driver. He was likely doing recon for the team while the young guys were trying to prove something.

As a driver he will be looking for a seat next year.

I want to see El Jorge on the podium.

If tweet fails to load, click here. “That’s hard for me to say. Back then [in 2021], that was also the game I played a bit. Will I do that again? I don’t need to.
“Back then, I’d never won a world title, and now I have a few. And they [Norris and Piastri] don’t.
“And at this stage, you’re naturally more nervous if you haven’t become world champion yet than if you already have those titles.”

Maybe this is an indication of why Redbull is so high on Linblad, despite a pretty lackluster season in F2. Linblad must have the "Doctor" Helmut Marko seal of approval.

I'll go on record that I think Yuki has a chance to save his job with consistent points finishes the rest of the way.
If Horner was still around, of course he wouldn't have a chance in hell. But I think Laurent Mekies holds Yuki in much higher regard and would be willing to argue for keeping him.
With the brand new car, I think they should value experience because of the rapid development that's going to happen in 2026. So I would argue for keeping the two Red Bull lineups exactly the same next year.

FP3.
Announcers saying Max was happy enough on low fuel but was unhappy on heavier fuel loads. If he can't finish the race ahead of Oscar it might be over. It looks like Lando is the guy to beat, Both Oscar and Max are about 0.6s off the pace.

Sure Max will pull a pole out of his arse again.

Australian super sport? Looks like fun racing.

I watched yesterday's (today's?) race and it was nuts. Everyone was going airborne on those two chicane areas. It went poorly for a couple of them. The video below should be time-stamped to a wreck where someone went airborne and it ripped the tire off the wheel.
I'm quickly becoming a fan. Really tight racing with cars that can take some hits, but it's not as bumpercary as NASCAR can be on circuits. Like, there's track limits and better rules in Supercar, but they still duke it the frick out.
ETA: the stewarding is extremely transparent and quick, unlike some series :coughF1:

What has happened to Piastri? Norris might be leading the championship tomorrow

Oscar is in big trouble. I don't think he wins this season

Watching but not listening. Any commentary on what’s happened to him?

hoping for a vintage Lando bottle of the start tomorrow to keep it interesting

Piastri? Car went away from him and now he has to competitively race. I think he is an incredible driver but I cant think of an actual overtake where he hasn't been the dominant car in a advantageous position.

Qualified 8th while Lando is on pole. Doesn’t seem to be the same driver as he was before the summer break
The team looked his car over before this weekend to make sure there wasn’t something they were missing that was holding him back, they didn’t come up with anything

He is only in year 3 or so. Id give him a break. He is certainly tanking this lead though.

Pulling for Max to win!

He seemed unflappable until Baku. Weird turn of events.
Still think he pulls it out.

A lead isn't impossible to lose.
2009 was the most dominant car with Brawn and Jensen didn't win in the ladt 10 rounds. Still won but it was close.
Jenson didn't fall off as much as the others caught up.
