Every once in a while we catch a good race at this track, but most of the time it's a snoozer.

I wonder if Merc is sweating the plank wear test later? The good thing is Russell stayed off the curbs the entire race.

With the way he was able to close late, that 3 seconds Oscar lost on the pit stop did turn out to be significant.

An uneventful race made worse by the TV direction that didn't show us the little action there was.

Glad McLaren winning overshadows George winning.

Pretty great race for Singapore.

Ferrari getting no coverage on giving their drivers quite possibly the shittiest car of all time.

Hopefully now that they got the constructors championship, we get to see Lando and Oscar go at it.

Think we saw the first of it today.

Do they intercede at any point now is the better question.

I would have liked to see Oscar closer at lap 19/20 to let Oscar pit early and try to undercut both Max and Lando. Or make Lando deny that option.

I assume once Piastri sees the onboard he doesn’t make a stink of the first lap bumps he took from Norris. He should have gotten a better start to begin with and wouldn’t have been in that situation.

First lap racing incident, no harm no foul.

Yeah, had McLaren not put themselves in this position with whatever team rules it would be nothing. Lando had an aggressive move and a great jump.

And Oscar no doubt should have pressed the team, miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

All right, the TD F1 Championship results are in!

dg42.net/TDF1/race-results.php?race=18

The winner of the TD F1 Singapore Grand Prix is bikerack with his second win and fourth podium of the season!

The podium is filled out by TouchedTheAxeIn82 in P2 for his fifth podium, and Pitt Road in P3 for his second podium.

Here's the championship table: dg42.net/TDF1/index.php?table=full

sorantable was out of the points again in the race, and his lead over P2 has shrunk again, from 10 points to 4 points. sorantable has led the championship from the start, but hasn't updated his prediction in three races. Can he hang on to the lead? Does he want to hang on to the lead? Does he not find the TD F1 Championship prestigious enough to fight to the end?

pitstop with a P7 race finish has finished in the points for an impressive six races in a row. He is slowly creeping up on sorantable's lead and may overtake him in Austin.

With a P2 race finish, TouchedTheAxeIn82 has jumped from P5 to P3 in the championship.

While gatorhater08 has dropped a spot to P4 in the championship, he still scored eight points and is still in strong contention for the championship.

With the race win, bikerack has jumped from P10 to P6 in the championship, and is the latest to crack 100 points.

With a strong P4 race finish, busbeepbeep has moved up from P9 to P7 in the championship. busbeepbeep is the highest ranked driver with no race wins, and he has just two podiums. Just grinding away at the points. busbeepbeep even has more points than jefforize who has three race wins!

Sounds like Hamilton got a 5s penalty pushing him down behind Alonso now in 8th?
