Denny Jr is out.

ETA: that’s not fair to Denny. Austin Hill is a step down from Denny. I dislike Austin Hill more than Denny

Cautions last longer than they used to.

Wow, what a restart. SVG ran out of fuel and it messed everyone up.

They’re gonna mess around and gift Hailey Deegan with the win.

I was just thinking, Haley Deegan actually has a shot if love runs out of gas and wrecks Sammy Smith.

9 out of the current top 10 drivers are looking for their first Xfinity Series win.

Jesse Love in the 2 hangs on and gets the win.

I’m happy for love. He has a lot of wins in his future. I was kind of hoping Brennan Poole would pull it out though.

Poole had such a great surge on the last lap, I thought he was going to clear Love. Pretty exciting last stage overall.

Kinda felt bad for Josh Williams getting clipped in the last wreck. He qualified well, survived some wrecks, and was in a great spot on the last restart to actually pull this one out.

Same with SVG. For a minute he looked like he had a chance for the win. Runs out of gas and never recovers. Dude did as well as can be asked today.

Won’t be surprised if the start is delayed, but it seems like there is a good possibility the race will be run today. Hopefully there won’t be any lingering showers hanging around.

I'm here bro. There is no more rain. They should have the track dried in 2 hours

The high winds will help the track dry.

Last night camping in the north zone tent was fun. 11pm it rained and didn't stop until about 8 this morning. I woke up at 4 cracked a cold beer, and had a cop sit right by our tent. He sat there for about 5 minutes and I walked over to him in his vehicle. Beer in my hand, I said is there a problem? He said 'no sir, just on patrol, wish I was drinking with you".

This place is as crazy as you want it to be. We're about to walk to the track. My 10th Dega race, my wife's first. Her words "this is redneck to another level I've never seen"

I said "this is Talladega"

Only those who've been there know what that means

Glad the rain is gone and they can race today. We took the camper last fall and had a great time. I’ve stayed in the free camping areas before and it’s definitely an experience.
I can imagine what a muddy mess the campgrounds are today.
Have fun !

Dega’ should be a right of passage to every young man or even Alabaman.
Nothing compares in my humble opinion lol.

I can only compare it to Daytona for races I've been to

The Daytona 500 has so much significance that is bad arse too.

I used to camp there all the time. Back when it was fun to camp there. Hell one year I took my atv and rode it right up to the main gate and chained it to the pole under the OV Hill towers.

That was the late 90's.

I’m glad to see the Alabama Air National Guard breaking out their new F-35’s for the flyover!
