I know he's only in Xfinity, but I've been really impressed with SVG so far. He'd be in 7th in Xfinity points if he didn't get penalized for cutting the course at COTA. And he'd be in the playoffs if that caution doesn't come out.

Even a point for a pole position would be nice. I'd give a point for the fastest lap.
No on leading a lap. During pit stop cycles too many backmarkers stay out and get a point for being slow to pit.
I could see the leading most laps for a point.
And no problem with a point for pole.
But wins are the biggie. You need to win.

Right. That's why a single point would be the reward.
Back in the day a lap led was awarded. I don't see the issue. If someone stays out to lead a lap then pit, that won't bother me.

I'm okay w/an extra point/championship point for leading the most laps.
I agree w/OU on not getting points for leading a single lap. Too many backmarkers would be getting points during pit cycles

Looking at the w/e weather, calling for an 80% chance of rain the balance of the day on Sunday here in West Central GA so you'd figure it's about the same percentage in East Central Alabama.

That’s the forecast in Alabama too. It’s not going to rain a lot but it will likely be enough to keep them from racing. There’s really a chance of rain the whole weekend, but Monday looks good.

RACE WEEKEND: The weekend will be cloudy and wet at times at the Talladega Superspeedway. Off and on showers are likely Saturday, but it won't rain all day; the high will be in the mid 70s.
Rain should be more widespread Sunday, but it won't rain all day and there is still some hope they get the Geico 500 in. Sunday will be very cool with a high close to 60 degrees with a cool north breeze. No risk of severe storms, and the rain should be generally 1/2 inch or less over the weekend.
