I listened to the Dale Jr’s podcast earlier today where he interviews Jeff Gordon.
Jeff mentioned something at the end of that podcast that I didn’t realize….Dale Jr won Hendrick Motorsports last Daytona 500 in 2014.

The field checked up and Yeley had to go outside to avoid slamming into Chastain, and that allowed Jimmie to pass him.
